

So they made something not very enjoyable to something even more tedious?
I guess having 280 weapons was only to get people to actually go to Diadem.
What the future holds> players may as well not waste time with Relics and such

i'll try to make it more detailed then. Using battle version for to keep it simple.
Once you enter you'll have a progress bar and an objective. The Whole zone will be covered in FATES(from what i've done they're very quick ones too) but there's a huge purple divide keeping you from reaching the lower islands.
The progress bar takes ~3 fates to clear and the objective is just like "go to this spot and kill 6 mobs"
then you'll get another objective and bar to fill
after that your done and a reward bag drops on the ground
now that the quest is done points will appear around the map that let you cross to the lower islands(you lose flying in the lower area as well)
but basically your still just doing FATES, boss FATES spawn in the lower area that are kind of like fighting level 50 S rank hunts and notorius monsters spawn anywhere they're marked with something like a (~)
boss fates and the NM's drop more chests and broken chests than normal FATES
after about half an hour the emergency FATE will spawn which is akin to the big FATES with different music you come across in heavensward or behemoth/odin. This FATE is the one that can reward a weapon or just a lot of chests.
the chests are turned in for random junk, brass spoils, or pink gear
