Short Answer yes.Cause why doing the Relic when you have a better weapon for allmost they same, if not lesser effort.I don't really get why so many people are upset about it.
I mean, i do get it, people put a lot of work into other things and they feel like that work is wasted now.
But such is the fate of this game
Imagine if they had released this with the inital 3.55! Along with Animas, would people still be mad?
It has nothing to do with status. It has everything to do with the massive amount of time amd effort people have put towards their gear. Having spent well over a week doing nothing but grinding the relic from scratch to 275 and getting to enjoy it for less time than it took to obtain it, yes this isn't a slap in the face, it's more like a roundhouse kick.
I want to say I doubt the dev team would make such a silly decision.... But I can't.
If they did just that, I doubt people would grind relics and they wasted time developing the entire story etc.
Maybe that's why the last step was so short?
I don't know what the last step is, but people had it within an hour after 3.55
YoshiP prob just like teehee XD
That is saying that getting into the deepest parts of the diadem within an hour will be easy. I'm expecting it to be closer to getting to floor 200 of PotD.
People are also assuming that the i265 gear and i280 weapons will be as easy to farm as i210 gear was in the original Diadem.

ARR relic, i135, was viable until level 60 in HW. SE likes their patterns, this is likely an attempt to encourage people to touch Diadem.
Simple Jealousy? Not at all. I'm annoyed that SE would just make such an abysmal addition to the game. Neutering everything in the game with one single patch. The best part is they didn't even unlock alexander. If anything , I feel this is super foretelling of the remainder of this game's lifecycle.
