What's the big deal? People here love frequent vertical progression. The less time we have enjoying our current gear the better. You might be playing the wrong game if you expect gear that should last any amount of time. Take a break and come back if this burns you out.

Simple Jealousy? Not at all. I'm annoyed that SE would just make such an abysmal addition to the game. Neutering everything in the game with one single patch. The best part is they didn't even unlock alexander.

All your current gear will be obsolete in 3 months when new expansion launches. You'll GC seal all your hard earned i270 gear. Does that make you annoyed too? Neutering everything is just how this game always was and always will be.

As someone who doesn't have an Alexandrian or an Anima weapon, I'm not upset, but I don't see the point to do that when an expansion pac is coming in 3 months.

Seems like a "please play our new content" stunt to me.

#1: you're wrong probably. i130 was fine until 57ish. i270 will likely be similar.
#2: nice hyperbole. That line can be used for ANY gear released 2.0. I could say the same about "eh, why bother with eso gear?" Doesn't make it a valid response.

Status? Sorry, but having the relic rendered obsolete after 2 weeks is a royal kick in the nuts. Even the ARR relic was relevant until you got your i180 weapon.

The biggest slap in the face is they released relic patch w/o diadem under the premise that diadem had a "game breaking bug". One week later we see exactly why they did it. but hey, neutering 1 week old gear is fine right?

Friendly reminder: raiders and relic farmers are not entitled to the highest ilevel gear. They should drop this silly argument that they should be the only ones at a certain ilvl. It's simple jealousy.

Its not anima weapons that I'm concerned with, its the fact that the hardest content in the game drops worse rewards than what will be a casual farm-fest, from a game design standpoint, it is completely backwards.

These should be i270, not i280, i.e. high enough to gear up for SB, but lower than the two hardest pieces of content (skill/grind)
