Grand company promotions

It seems like they should have at least fixed this part by now.
It's been a full patch cycle since the new rank was added, but the GC doesn't even tell you it exists, let alone how to get it. That's just wrong.
People shouldn't have to go to external sources like this forum to find out basic info like this, not when there's an in-game NPC whose job it is to tell us such things.

Yeah but... I mean, it was kind of obvious? New rank comes up, new squadron stuff launches same time. I just put two-and-two together and assumed that's where the promotion would come from.
