What ilevel gear will be dropped in Diadem 2.0?

The problem is always the same. With vertical progression, you can not have several content relevant at the same time...especially if running daily roulettes will allow you to buy the second best gear in the game...

Hell i would love that. But business is business casuals are a majority out there. So when your business is whining you have to give them what they want.

As you pointed out too, ilvl doesn't mean people are actually good. But i will never see a IG parser as well.

I expect i260 gear and possibly (probably?) upgrade items to turn it into i270 gear.

Even casuals could progress in a different formula.

This is what, in my (probably unpopular) opinion, ilvl distrbution should be : quests < uncapped tome <= expert dungeon < 8-man raid < 24-man raid <= additionnal non-story-driven content of the patch <= 8-man savage raid.

And yes, you saw that well, capped tome gear should be removed. Anything before savage raid can be cleared by casual players, without ilvl on par with savage. As for two "<=", it's because I think the additionnal content could have several objectives to cover a wider range of rewards. As for the content, I'd release three/four dungeons on even patches, and zero/one on odd patches depending on if the MSQ needs one (So that even patch+odd patch always give 4 expert dungeons total).

Once the rewards for diadem got nerfed to 205 people saw no reason to go into it. And Diadem needs players to work with in order to function well.

If the battle rewards are not there it will not work, so I'm hoping for 270. It is updated around the same time (or even later than) the 24 man raid. If raiders are complaining about their ilvl not being high or shiny enough, I just cannot take them seriously.. They are not going to be running savage with those players in the first place, they get to the ilvl earlier than others, and your gear get outdated the same time everyone else's is.

People complain how the gearing formula never changes so lets give even raiders something new to do by making it 275. That's how you change the formula: by putting non-raid, non-tome gear in the gearing path.
