    No I don't think leveling dungeons should have ilevel requirements. Leveling dungeons are leveling dungeons after all not end game content. So therefore besides level needed to enter said dungeons nothing else should be needed.

    I disagree, since every zone had vendors with basic gear all a player need to do is expend a small amount of gil to upgrade.

    I think it would be nice if everybody in a dungeon were on somewhat equal terms, why not place a cap on how high you're stats can go on every dungeon like they do already on some rather than how low you can be? I can see the point about how hard it can be to heal under-geared players, but it's the same for tanking. If you're an under-geared tank, high level DPS will rip hate from you. I don't think people go in to dungeons under-geared on purpose, it seems a little harsh to restrict and limit what players can be allowed to do.

    To answer the question,

    No, they shouldn't. However, there may need to start adding one in since some players don't want to use common sense. No one should be in the Vault with level 30 gear.

    I don't see the benefit from mixing STR-, DEX-, VIT-, INT- and MND-accessoires with each other. Only thing i can see is VIT-accessoires for early progression raiding.
    Please can someone explain the benefit to me i'm honestly curious.

    Heavensward leveling dungeons?

    ALL group content should have stat requirements on them unless a group in full statless gear can beat it. What do you think the point of such requirements is? To ensure that any group can beat the content, even one where everyone is at the absolute minimum to enter. It's the same reason you can't just queue as DoH/DoL into DoW/DoM content, why they demand a group to have tanks, healers and DPS, why they demand to have a full 4/8/24 man party and demand to have the appropriate level. It isn't some measure meant to annoy people, it's a measure to create functional groups in a duty finder environment with random people. Consequently, some of them don't even apply to premade parties.

    And IMO, they should stop using average item level to measure that. It's faulty, the stats need to be checked directly.

    When you're healing a tank in Vault has i70-90 gear, I want you to tell me straight to my face that we don't need some system to prevent this in place.

    I have been levelling the rest of my jobs since the cap rise to 60 lately while there is not much to do before SB, and the number of horribly undergeared people in a dungeon is getting pretty frustrating..

    Tanks running around in lvl 50 NQ white armor in the Vault taking loads of unecessary damage. Healers with rubbish heal potency and DPS that deal lackluster damage that I pray is not just due to player skill. I am by no means an elitist but I definitely expect people to wear level appropriate gear.

    Even base the requirement on NQ whites of the previous dungeon.. At least you wouldn't see people in Gubal trying to run around in their Dusk Vigil gear.

    There are.. It's called level sync.

    Level sync also syncs gear to the highest possible iLvl for that level.
    As far as Gubal is concerned, the iLvl cap is already in place - 150.

    If a DPS is able to rip hate from a Tank, the tank is likely not in level appropriate gear or using their skills correctly.
    At level 50+ you should know how your skills work (at least the ARR skills which is sufficient in holding hate).
