Never said I wanted it out of PvP, but I suppose that was in response to rewarding it in PvE from the old thread.
I'm pretty sure it being in the wrong section is why people didn't post but I'm not gonna argue about that. xD
♥ Baby, tell me, what's your motive? ♥
Are we really going to try to play tit for tat here? 3.5 and the Garo event brought a lot of stuff, yes, but if we're talking Heavensward alone:
PvP Gear (Max): i180 in 3.05, i205 in 3.25, now i235 in Patch 3.5
PvE Gear (Max): i210/215 in 3.05, i240/245 in 3.25, now i270/275 in 3.5. . . with plenty of dungeon, raid, alliance raid, and crafted gear filling the gaps between 210 and 270 in every major patch. Let me also point out the lack of anything for PvP between 3.25 and 3.5.
PvP Mounts: NOT including the GC Warsteeds or the original black ADS - All from ARR - there's the Gloria mount from the Feast, the White ADS from Shatter, the Season 3 Hellhounds, and now 3 Garo mounts. 3.25, 3.3, now 3.5; when you consider that many of these are achievement based rewards from content many people simply choose not to do, it's no surprise they remain somewhat "exclusive", the Garo mounts being the exception as they were made easy enough to get within a day. 11 mounts total.
PvE Mounts: All 7 Primal mounts, all 3 Gold Saucer mounts, the Griffin, the Manacutter, Midgardsormr, the Black Chocobo, the Asterope, the Pegasus, the 2 PotD mounts, both Alexander Savage mounts, all 3 beast tribe mounts, and the Firebird. . . This does NOT include Mogstation, special event, Recruit-A-Friend, and region exclusive mounts for a total of 24.
Should I even get into Minions? Orchestrion Rolls? Materia? PvP definitely does NOT have the most rewards of anything in Heavensward, and what we do have must be worked for. The issue lies in people not wanting to work for them, yet crying foul that they don't get 2 out of a possible 11 PvP mounts (again, Heavensward only) despite the 24 they can get without even thinking about PvP. But yeah, everyone else gets "zilch" right?

Considering that nothing you list is relevant to the original "zilch" comment, uh...yeah.
The correct counterargument to the original comment is:"No, even if you do not place top 100/30, you still get accessories. Therefore, everyone who participates in the Feast Rankings but does not place top 100/30 does get something and since something is more than nothing, the 400k+ players you were referring to consequently don't get 'zilch', but accessories."
Simple, logical, relevant.
This person and their logic. Get outta here! Don't you know being triggered is more fun?Considering that nothing you list is relevant to the original "zilch" comment, uh...yeah.

A mentor stole my house, slapped me across the face, and raised my ping from 15 to 30. Literally unplayable.

Please go back and see the original "Zilch" comment. Page 6, first post. Also the person quoted listed PvP rewards saying PvP has the most rewards of anything in Heavensward. I simply provided factual evidence otherwise. Moving on. . .
Overall, there should never be any complaint of not getting PvP rewards, especially if someone didn't, or doesn't want to compete for it. And for those that do compete, you'd better have or quickly attain the fundamental understanding that:
1. You won't always win.
2. Even if you give your best, someone else's best may at times prove better.
3. You are not entitled to the spoils of victory unless you're the victor. (As an addendum: You are NOT entitled to the spoils of victory if you cheat to win.)
Season 3 is done. People who fought for it have their mounts. If you want one, better train up and fight in Season 4. End of story.
I'll even go a step further and quote it:
The first thing you notice is that it's not fully specified and factually not correct. It's not 100 people, it's 130 people per data center, hence 650 people total. The poster omitted the reason for the multiplication. However, he is completely right that everyone not those 650 does not get the reward, regardless of whether they engage in Ranked Feast or not. He is wrong that they get "Zilch" - People not in the top 650 get Accessories if they participate in Ranked Feast.
The reason your rant was irrelevant to the matter is because the poster above is referring solely to Ranked Feast and the Top 100 rewards - Other content has no bearing. What the other person you quoted did is respond to that rant, which already wasn't relevant to the first comment. To his comment, your list was relevant and I haven't stated otherwise - but it isn't relevant to the original comment and bringing it up again is thus pointless.
Gee, I feel like a semantics teacher now >_>
You're right, moving on.
Spare the semantics and the faux cheeky act. Relevant to the original quote, no, and you're right on that. To touch on the original quote however, what's particularly wrong about competing, not winning, and NOT getting a reward because you didn't win. Did you compete? Did you win? I did, and I didn't. And I hardly feel like I got nothing for it. However if the reward is all it's about, well that's perhaps a difference of outlook and honestly a personal issue. Call it abstract, but I feel I got more out of Season 3 than any of them, controversies and disappointments aside.
^ I may just requote this to save time from here on.
EDIT: Never mind, the devs said it themselves.

This isn't a PVP game, the PVP content forms part the content much as raids do and it gotten more rewards than raids got and any other single bit of content. If your expecting PVP to get as much attention as everything else in the game you are never going to be happy with it.Are we really going to try to play tit for tat here? 3.5 and the Garo event brought a lot of stuff, yes, but if we're talking Heavensward alone:
