[Tanks/Healers]: Are you disappointed there is no new job in 4.0?

Because Tanks and Healers just got their new shiny in the current running expac..

DPS also got a new shiny in HW with MCH...

Eh? You obviously have never played 2 different DPS in this game.

There is a reason there are different types of DPS. Just because they have the same red icon, does not mean they have the same role in a party, or even remotely play the same.

I personally can't stand the caster DPS or ranged DPS in this game, yet I love playing Melee DPS.
That alone shows that melee DPS have been unfortunate with only 2 options since the release of 1.0.

And a PLD doesn't play like a DRK or WAR. A WHM does not play like a AST or SCH. Each tank and healer job brings something different to the group and plays differently. Just because they have that blue and green icon next to them doesn't not mean they play the same way.

And can we please stop dividing DPS into 10 different subgroups so we can pretend like it's been years since they've got a new class? It's stupid and you're not fooling anyone.
