There's no point in gearing up your jobs. You'll be able to get level 61+ "junk" and dungeon equipment nearly as good or the same as tome gear once the expansion hits.

Only real thing worth "preparing" would be getting all the jobs you want to 60 if you haven't already and any gear you want for glamouring.

Augmented Ironworks gear is good until 56 or so. If the augmented Shire gear plays the same way, it will be good to still gear them.
