Not really. I already have a few jobs with great gear. I want to spend scripture on something, so it doesn't go to waste. I'm already doing certain instances with FC members to help them gear up. I might as well gear up another job, since I'm already there.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying you shouldn't do it if you are capping out your Scripture every week. Might as well spend them on something if they're just sitting there collecting dust.

But it's not worth spending extra effort on to "prepare" for the expansion, since gear just as good if not better than Shire and Augmented Shire will be incredibly easy to get. Especially augmented, since you can only augment one piece of Shire gear a week.

You can get more than 1 piece a week. You can also upgrade items from doing hunts, but I see your point as well.
