I notice that in http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/f...74-Past-Events there are no transcripts for the last two Live Producer Letters, I can't recall the previous one but obviously the latest one was as a paid-for event.

Is it safe to presume that SE are now expecting players to PAY in order to access the only real way SE communicate directly with us about the game's progress?

Live Letters have never been Pay to View, ever, even the ones at FanFest were stream-able for free, the only thing you paid for was the keynote :/ so....yeah.

The Fanfest Live Letters are streamed for free via the usual channels.

As to why there aren't any transcripts, it was unnecessary as the community teams and/or Koji were on-hand at the events giving live commentary and translation.

There will likely be the usual formally translated Digests posted in due time.

Lol it was free on twitch. The live letters are /always/ free even if there is a fanfest going on.

There are plenty of things to worry about or complain but Live Letters is not enough and never was.
