Yugiri is a ninja. She's going to be central to the story of Doma, as will the Samurai.
Red Mage wasn't even present in the video they showed us. I would think if Red Mage was going to feature in the story AT ALL they'd have shown them in that capacity and they have not.

Ninja and Yugiri's skills (along with Thancrad's) were shown and showcased in the later part of ARR and some of HW. I see the natural affinity you are suggesting with SAM and Doma, but still with 2 jobs announced for SB, and the announced/featured Monk focus in the trailer; I believe it's safer to conclude that Monk, Red Mage an Samurai will be 'focus' points.
That is what I find odd as well. A whole new job and not even mentioned in the original or extended trailer.
Neither Astrologian, Machinist nor Dark Knight were showcased in the HW trailer. Only Warrior and Dragoon.
Samurai was the focus for the Othard section of the trailer due to the job suiting the atmosphere.
If they were going to do a trailer focused on a Victorian London style metropolis Red Mage would likely be the focus job.

Thank you for the link. However it's natural that Yugiri would be part of the story, however that does not make the Ninja job itself a primary focus.
That's not even the point. She is a character that has been established as a Ninja and she has been present in the story in a major way.
The visibility of magic-based characters in the story pales in comparison.
