Magic as a Main Theme in an Expansion?

A Realm Reborn - Despite introducing both Summoner & Scholar, there was never any focus on either of these jobs in the story of the game and they were added pretty unceremoniously. Understandable, the game had to hit the ground running and move forward after 1.0.

Heavensward - Central focus on the Dragonsong war, Dragoons, Elves.

Stormblood - Central focus on Ninja, Samurai, and Monk, Au Ra, Highlander. Despite also unveiling Red Mage, they have not been shown to be present in the story thus far.

Will we ever see magic being brought to the forefront of the story as it has been for the past few expansions for Disciples of War, etc?
