SE Account - Crysta and Paypal service NOT WORKING

Update! Apparently enough people have called in about this issue..but there is no notice going out.

DO NOT KEEP TRYING THE PAYPAL METHOD

It counts on SE's end as fraudulent attempts and My roommate got his account locked. Called CS again.- Told him... "Sorry...we're aware we're working on it...can't do anything about your account. You're just gonna have to wait it out and try again in a couple days."

So...GOOD LUCK!!

Still unable to make payments though PayPal as of 8:47 am EST. Rather troublesome.

Updating again: As of 2:15pm EST - Paypal is still borked, and there is still no public notice. And for anyone that has tried multiple times, then switched to entering in a credit card instead- will likely result in a i2501 Error- Which means your account is blocked from transactions and you are on a 24-48Hour lockout.

Has happened to a few FC members now.

Still happening to me as well. Put in a ticket two nights ago, which I've yet to receive a response to. :/

This better be fixed soon--I've never been able to use my card, so using PayPal to purchase Crysta is the only method available for renewing my sub.

Hrm tried two times total before I had looked this up. The fraudulent flag is terrible, even moreso if they say there's "Nothing we can do about it". Being their mistake it's completely unacceptable to penalize the customer.

I hope those affected by it see it resolved quicky and that I also don't fall into that. It's a shame they seem to have so many issues with their customer support.

Yeah I had to buy my hubby a 60 day time card from Amazon. It literally costed me 90 days worth of sub for only 60 days. Not very happy.

well I did add Crysta via a card itself not off Paypal to work around it I got my Crysta but when I go to put it in to my sub I get Error i2501 as well

Yup, sadly you will have to call them. And hopefully they will be more helpful to you. Also, before you call them call your card/bank to make sure that they haven't flagged it your side, also inform them that you will be making a purchase with SE to to be sure. That way when yo call and tell you to check your bank...you can explain you have already done it...

Also STILL NO PUBLIC NOTICE either on the service or on lodestone.
