Come to think of it, what if we're all guinea pigs being tested on, a cruel experiment to see if they can restrict other chats as well D:?

This whole thing is just a dream within a dream

For the 20% smart people, who are not complaining, whinning, and raging against other players it's a bad news.
For the 80% horrible players i met and report, who rage, insult, harass other players it's a good news, no more reason to be jailed.
Honnestly guys, all the pvp was awfull because of these horrible players, even because of you good guys who did not said a single word when you saw other guys harassing and insulting other players.
It's worse in frontlines when votekicks are used to harass random newbies, and when MOST of the people vote yes and don't know anything about what happen.
So cry as much as you want, but if this happen, it's because of everybody behaviour, you all got what you deserve, and SE did the best thing with this problem, whatever you think.
Newbies will find a peacefull environment to become good players and to learn, bad players too, but i don't care as SE does, i prefer bad players than insulting and harassing players.

New targeting commands means you right click on a specific target and there will be new options, which are copied in a party chat along with targets name. Or you can select a target and click on a new icon.
Do you seriously believe that the time it would take to do something like that is effective in a PvP environment? By the time you even go through the menus to issue your chat command, the status of the game will likely have changed and it will no longer be the correct thing to do.
The community doesn't learn off a, "peaceful environment." Most of them don't even know they are doing anything wrong, you can see this in the rest of the game. With this chat removed these people will never be corrected and it will make it worse off.

I've just begun to try and do some PVP. I have no idea what I'm doing but I'm glad for the change. So far, PVP was nothing but ragers and it was turning it off to me.

Ask the "ragers" questions, if you seem like you are trying to learn they will probably help you out. What I'm reading is, "I don't know what I'm doing and I don't want to interact with people who do. Let me play this multiplayer game in a bubble." Without chat you'll keep making the same mistakes and end up with a 30% winrate. I can only assume that is less fun than getting scolded a few times. It's a chat box, it won't bite lol. Or just play something that isn't multiplayer if you dont want to interact with a community.
