Weird thing is.......a lot of people think there's too much 'catch up' content. Which is true. You're either too bad, or just too ignorant and want free shiz.

I don't see how my ideas was wanting free stuff? it was either adjust level 60 roulette so it worked like levelling roulette or let people use poetics to buy lore gear (which also allows people to buy it for glamour)

though I have just realised I may be mixing up Lore and Law gear XD whoops either way I mean the first set that was available domain gear I think the yukata ones

Doman gear is available for hunt centurio seals, as is esoterics gear. If i recall corectly a full set should be around 400 centurio seals

Ran into this issue on an alt. They need to stop locking things behind hunts, it's dead content at least keep them as tomes also.

I did not realises it was in hunts but as lone said hunts is somewhat unpopular content. having the option to buy from poetics would be nice too. That or make it a bit more obvious that this stuff is in hunts. Cause I read (well skim) patch notes each patch and didn't see this and a new person may just breeze past hunts trying to get on with story.

You can solo the hunt gear incredibly easily from level 50 onwards (for alt jobs since you need to unlock the hunts first) and even doing it casually have a 200 weapon the moment you hit 60 (it's cheap). On my backwater server you can buy the ilv250 crafted weapons from the MB for 200-300k for most jobs; the materia costs far more than the weapon! The PVP weapon can be obtained in an hour or so as people say. I don't think it's a big problem to get minimum ilv for content.
This is why the relic weapon exists.
This is why crafted gear and crafted weapons exist.
This is why ex primals drop weapons.
This is why PotD drops weapons.
This is why you can buy weapons and gear from hunt marks.
This is why you can buy weapons and gear by farming dungeons for lore.
Yet, you still want more ways to get gear? Pick one of the above. We've all had to do the same grind for gear.
Knowledge bomb! OP is not really looking at the big picture am I right? Lol just roulette this roulette that. POTD can be done naked and gets times quickly. Frontline PVP can easily be queued for now with "freelancer" and wolf marks can easily obtain a full set of 235 even a weapon. Gotta think outside the box. This is why the relic weapon exists.

Really, using hunts to get the 3rd best set to help you with doing the level 60 roulette to move onwards is perhaps the best option, and we should probably push newbies to try them out in any case. In addition to the seal rewards, they also reward xp and gil. I could definitely see someone doing their daily/weekly hunts as they level up and being able to ding 60 into a set of ilvl 200 gear.
