    Macros are good for healers to DPS enemies without untargeting the tank. It is not always about chaining skills.
    Also to save skill slots.
    Example: Cast Stone 3. If that is not possible (because of level-synch), cast stone 2

    Healers should not use macros for DPS either - exactly because it prevents you from chaining your DPS spells. It's in no way demanding to swap targets between healing and DPS targets as a healer.

    You swap to tank when you need to heal her, and to the boss when you need to damage it...
