Do you care if the player in real life is not the same gender as their character? Not really, no! I can get along with any gender pretty well and I'm not really looking to dive into a relationship right away anyways.

Preferred Race: let's see... I guess my favorites are Au ra males and miqo'tes buuuuut I don't have anything against any of the other races
Main class?: I guess all 3 healers? I dunno...
Dislikes: Being ignored - I like it when people are honest with me, people who are rude to others, being pressured into doing things.
Goals for the game: err, I'll get back to this some other time, I'm so lost right now.
Goals for the marriage union: To have someone to goof around with. I consider myself a pretty down to earth type of person so I love being able to joke around with anyone. I can be a bit sarcastic and have a bit of a sailors mouth but I'm not the type of person who gets angry easily.

Eh? Most of them were real women who were just having issues to know what they really want so I stand correctly. When I said guys and girls, I meant both genders. I was not talking about women playing as male characters or men playing as female characters. I was referring to their physical as well as to their gender identity.

@Arutan some people, I met thru discor who were from this online game, got some real problems in real life that instead of trying to look for help and to find a way to be healthy, they decided to forget about their problems that were literally consuming them. Instead they just play a video game or online games to feel better while the problem is still present and forever awaiting to be solved by them. They decided to abandon any hopes and let others aeound their lives to just deal with the consequences of an unhealthy and poor decision.That is what I was referring to as out of the spectrum of normal range.

I just play online games and console games to relax and just play. I don't look for a way to literally become someone else. If I find other people who enjoy to do that cool, we can totally hang out and play the game together, I meant a few, and it is cool.

I was referring to the overwhelming amount of males pretending to be females on this game, as in actively trying to deceive others to believe they are girls. The same is true vice versa; some girls have deceived guys to think that they are male, particularly in the gay community. It's a problem on this game, and it goes hand-in-hand with the increasing number of people like the ones you referenced. This is my first MMO, so it may be just a culture shock for me. Regardless, I'm surprised this community isn't the focus of some psychological study, especially in the field of cyberpsychology. I digress, this is a thread for in-game EB ceremonies; however, it's being used as more of a relationship finder, which it is not.

It is not, but the word -marriage- is a concept that means be with someone more than friendship. If we have that in mind, it is natural strangers will want an open door to a chance to happen that. This misunderstanding would not happen if it were between friends. That is hard to find for people want to have a privacy of simple things that there shouldn't be like gender, age, likes and dislikes, etc.

I found out that a lot of people have a lot of trouble to communicate. You can contact someone and talk after awhile. You would expect the same but it be 1-2-3 weeks after the last conversation, and your new friend(s) never speak to you because they were 1) shy, 2) they were waiting the other to contact them first -again-, 3) they just moved on because the other person just didn't contact them, 4) get distracted pretty easily, and more more factors. This is not just a problem with online connection but with people you meet in school or work. I have classmates who I might call them friends, but they are not really. We talk, joke in class but when txting one another my classmates can take a couple of hours to reply or just txt me back the following day. We are "friends" in our environment, but we are just aquantance outside of it.
