I kind of wish there were a thread that was just for making friends rather than "partners", I'm not really interested in marriage but I'd like to find other girls to play with.

I feel like some of the replies have been an attack against my post. So I'll explain myself somewhat, though I shouldn't need to explain my reasons.

I have never played a male character, on any game that has given me the option to be otherwise. I mind because I would like to make a friend who is the opposite gender because I genuinely would like to engage with someone I feel comfortable around in game because I think marrying out of cuteness is useless and I won't do it for that, and I feel safer around the opposite gender. I do not get along with guys. "Uncomfortable with their sexuality." is highly disrespectful and extremely rude to make judgements about someone you don't know. Yes there are people who behave disgustingly on MMOs, and play opposite genders for wrong reasons, but talking so horribly about someone so openly for no reason is pathetic.

KremlinDusk, the conversation was not meant to be an attack on your post. If you follow the thread for a while, you'll see a lot of guys who play female characters say that they are only interested in females who play female characters. You clearly stated that you are not interested in guys and asked people to be respectful of that. I can understand that. Your post was polite, but the conversation was more towards those who more demand that it be a female player and female character. They give off that "omg i want bewbies" vibe. Yours doesn't. Please don't feel like anyone is attacking you. I am certainly not.

Ahh - Then I apologise for jumping to conclusions, there. I just saw all of that out of nowhere, out of my own fault for not looking before 625 when I had posted. It just took me a little by surprise. I also too feel really uneasy around the "omg i need a sexy ass to look at not some fat roe butt, i'm not gay" stupidity. It gives people who feel more comfortable in game a really bad name for playing opposites.Thank you for explaining

I do not think people were attacking you. It doesn't seem to be uncommon for people to encounter some conflict and want to discuss it with others on here (which it seems to be more frequent this month), so don't take what people are saying personally. Just do you and stay positive. Most people that have had success in the past seemed to have given the same advice. Also don't forget to be social in game since you never know what might come from that. Good luck to you and to others still trying.

People posting contact information to chat outside of the game should also be mindful that any person on the internet can see it, not just those subbed, so trolling it honestly to be expected since its the internet after all.

@KremlinDusk I thought they, Vyralia and lokier, were talking about more about guys playing females wanting and in a way "demanding" the counter part female player playing just female character. I think your post is fine. you said you like to play with a female player nothing about they playing just female character. I mean you are already playing your character as you like why make other player play what they don't like. Again, it didn't sound anything like that, but just mentioning because some guys do demand and ask girls do that while they are doing the opposite. I think it is appropriate from a guy asking a girl to play as a female IF they play as one too. hem asking a female player to do the same.
