What made this game great? Amazingly subjective point there. I'm just gonna say it, 2.0's story was ass. It's gotten better, but back then amidst 2.0-2.x I thought it was straight garbage. Sappy Saturday Morning Cartoon junk that had little soul in it. And that's when I started playing. So surprise when I couldn't care less for the story, and I'm not alone in this feeling. Plenty others. But as you say, you thought it was important so clearly we must suffer through it and pretend to appreciate this part of the that exists only once, and afterwards in very VERY small increments every few months.

And thus pandering to those who wish to just solely do that, to spend money to reach that goal faster is alright? they could simply realise the next expansion pack as a big field and a bunch of instances in that case.

Real talk: it's not pandering to some small group. If you're here after leveling, it's probably for raiding. There are people who do crafting for their kicks, and I respect that, but raiding is the game after hitting max level.

I know it's not a small group, I can respect that, those, the competitionests, the crafters, those who are there and just use it to socialize and the rest. I know those people are all working to their end game, whatever they feel is the game to them. To me the story to the end game is a major part of the game, it teaches you how to play with what I see as an amazing story worth playing that is why I am disappointed in this kind of proposal.

Didn't really want to read through and see if anyone else caught onto this so I'm gonna put it here. I know many have been mentioning how little content it seems we are getting in the exp and the possibility of rdm being the only job added. Buut..

true enough trouble is when their letting people boost and then you get stuck with said booster in a dungeon and they don't know what 50% of their skills do to either do their jobs be in doing good damage not killing everyone all cause their the healer or holding the group of enemies cause their the tank.

Can see people already chewing others out cause you join whatever the 61 dungeon is and tank doesn't know what move to hold agro and healer/dps are getting it and killed and their booting this person cause they boosted to 60 or whatever then SE trying pull some crap like punishing the people who chew/booted them out for being "Mean" to said person and trust me they will do it as I been hit with 2 bans for being mean to someone on lodestone and there wasn't a single swear word used yet cause I was realistic and they complain I was mean got punish.
