Another Yoshida post addressed a question about being unable to move to language-specific servers as they might be locked for existing players.
Yes, we have already considered this scenario. We will not be treating the language servers as new worlds, so there is no need to worry.Does this mean that the current servers will become global servers? I’m assuming that the language servers will be considered new worlds, so players in the current server will have to wait a while to join the language servers. I believe that players will want to join the language servers with their friends as soon as they are implemented, so could you please keep that in mind.

.. Please clarify again? ^^;Another Yoshida post addressed a question about being unable to move to language-specific servers as they might be locked for existing players.
What does this mean? They're going to make the current servers the language specific ones and players will be forced to either play on servers different from their own language or move to one of the others? Surely that's a bit..
I'm really having a hard time understanding what Naoki Yoshida is saying there. I there really no way to make it any clearer?

If you could pass along a follow-up concern to Team Yoshida:
With this latest comment, I hope it doesn't mean some existing servers are automatically designated as Language-Specific Servers (e.g., "Besaid will now be Japanese-Only Server." or "Rabanastre will be German-Only Server." etc.). Because then you're forcing players who call those servers "home" to jump to another server instead.
I hope this gets clarified.
And to cast my vote, I'd rather have Global Servers still (and I hope we aren't forced to move from our server to new Global ones). It's a much more colorful, enjoyable and fun experience to have people from around the world on at various times of the day.
Thanks!
