What would it take for you to quit the game?

If this game went F2P, I'd probably quit. I don't think we could still get the amount of content we're used to as regularly as it comes out and maintain some level of fairness and decency in what's available in the cash shop.

If my character were somehow deleted, I'd also probably quit- I've been playing since about 2.4, and I don't think I could go through all those quests and all that leveling a second time.

Just tried ESO. I will not be quitting for awhile. The next best on console isn't even close.

1) If my character got deleted.
2) Change to F2P.
3) A new MMO comes out that I enjoy more. (I would lose my damn mind if Monolith Soft made something along the lines of Xenoblade X into MMO form).
4) If the upcoming jump potion screws up everything (I hope it won't, but that's a big change to the community dynamic, it's inevitable at this point lol).
5) The freaking bots/gil sellers will eventually drive me away I'm sure. They're bad now, but I believe they will get worse.

Being unable to play at all. Stormblood is ramping up the minimum requirements and I'm not going to pay for the PS4 version. So if I can't play on my laptop anymore then I'll never sub again. That's it.

Keep an eye out for a inexpensive promotion on the PS4 version before SB, then take advantage before SB arrives and enjoy the PS4 goodness - or if you have a PS3 copy, upgrade when SE offers the upgrade campaign again.

I would quit if the following was true:

1. All my friends stopped playing (only half of us left including myself).
2. My account and/or characters were compromised with no chance of restoration.

In the second scenario, I would not return no matter how many friends are playing.
