I took dnc to 90 and solo most things ppl need groups for.
Hybrids are those who are versitile. They are not melee only or magic only.

Hybrids are a mix of the 2. paladin melee and cast magic. so does rdm so does blu ninja (tools vs mana) and dancer (tp vs mana) rdm can actually take a bit of a beating if geared for it as it has alot of self buffers. I found this out by accidently walking into a sata. if I didn't panic and self cured I woulda been better, I didn't die though.

dancers had a mild provoke actaually and I tanked with it a few times. I out lasted a pld @ lvl 30 on an accidental dhamel link. And it wad full hp I tanked it as dnc/war just self curing with a single dagger (pre patch)

I solo'ed the COP sea missions all the way up to the race light. A dnc can solo nearly all the mobs in sea minus that UFO thinngy.

Anyways listen not everyone like your style of playing.Hybrids are great for solo and screwing around.
Some people LIKE to cooperate in a party and play their given roles, for people like me is what MMOs are all about.

Like i said , some hybrids are fine , but right now everything can/is an hybrid of some kind in FFXIV.This is unacceptable.

FFXI right now is nothin compared to what it was when 75 was the cap, difficulty wise.
Some people like it hard some dont .Some people like to solo, others like to party play.
FFXIV right now is a solo game.They only reason people team up is becouse it increases their sp rate.What ever their performance is good or bad, their stats are allocated correctly or they are geared correctly have a minimal impact on the outcome.
Hell even Nms are about numbers and not party coperation for the most part.

Are you seriously OK with this?I honestly dont understand why even bother to play a MMO like this.
