Just give it a weeek, and Top 100 will be full of new players. Old Gold+ will be forced to que to keep their rating.
Ah, I see now, it was SE's plan all along to keep The Feast alive and spicy.

There is no way for a healer to tell your support u need mana. Other than spamming "fall back"......... which doesn't indicate anything mana related.
Yesterday I felt so bad. Couldn't tell the ast he should use a sect. And he was healing without stance the entire time. We lost.
That's assuming they even care at that point. We've lost a few already, and it's hard to justify coming back to a game that is actively being sabotaged by it's own development team.
What a nightmare this has become.SE still remains silent...they knew that the new chat restrictions don't apply to them, right? 0.o
Just wanna add another voice here.
This is the worst thing you did for PVP yet. Get rid of this nonsense.

Got black mount already from spamming 8 vs 8. And while ya there were lotsa tanks getting 10 stacks and entire parties focusing on decoy tanks...it was....peaceful lol. Most people did with the chat was just used the Hello, Attacking Healer, and Pull back phrases.
I dunno, guess during ranked matches, this is gonna make some people have a stroke when stuff goes wrong but I guess this way, people get the chance to learn in peace.
How can you learn if your mistakes are not pointed out to you? The game does nothing to teach even the basics of pvp, so it was left up to the players. Now, even that is gone. The "peace" as you put it is just complacency, since it's impossible to care anymore about a game mode that has been thrown to the dirt.Got black mount already from spamming 8 vs 8. Actually... I have taken the def buff a few times in the thing we call 8v8 as a tank. Now this was only after breaking the box, running away, seeing that no one took the kit, running back to the area, jumping up and down, waited, waited some more, took the kit. (One time both kits were sitting there...)
On primal at least, 8v8 seems to be, people que, hope to rng that they get people to carry them to a win (or they do not have title yet, they just want wolf marks so a fast lost is great for them), if not, lose, re-que. Do it again.
And really, the def kit is not much of a waste on me, I have ever need to switch to tank stance and self heal as much as yesterdays matches, even with no stacks or 1 stack I ended up being targeted so often. I was breaking 70K in heals as a WAR...
That MNK using Fists of Fire? You have no way to tell him to use Fists of Earth.
That AST using the wrong sect? You have no way to tell him to switch.
That dude who forgot to put on his PvP gear and still has a bunch of accuracy pieces? You have no way to tell him to switch.
That healer who forgot to put on his Fending accessories? You have no way to tell him to switch.
That tank that is sitting in tank stance BEFORE hitting 4 stacks? You have no way to tell him to take it off.
That tank that still does not have tank stance on AFTER hitting 4 stacks? You have no way to tell him to put it on.
That MNK that wants to tell his team to let him solo a box in the beginning to build GL3? He's got no way to say that.
That healer that needs MP? He can't even tell that to his team.
There's not even a "heal me" command of any sort either.
Instead of just implementing an in-game resource to teach new players how to PvP, they decided to turn it into a hugbox so no one can hurt each others feefee's.
8 v 8 is chaotic, but idk, players seem to be enjoying it and im winning these matches at a high percentage which is even better.
