The New Chat Restriction in The Feast

Got black mount already from spamming 8 vs 8. And while ya there were lotsa tanks getting 10 stacks and entire parties focusing on decoy tanks...it was....peaceful lol. Most people did with the chat was just used the Hello, Attacking Healer, and Pull back phrases.

I dunno, guess during ranked matches, this is gonna make some people have a stroke when stuff goes wrong but I guess this way, people get the chance to learn in peace.

Not sarcasm, honest question - is there an unranked version of Feast? If so, IMO, new players should be learning there. If not, one really should be implemented lol - it would be a great way for people to learn the mode without getting crushed by veterans.

This chat ban, though? Solves nothing except allowing bad players to pretend like no one minds that they're bad anymore. Is this really something everyone is okay with? I'd hate people being angry with me and having no way to express it, thus continuing my poor performance cycle in ignorance. Why are helpful players being punished with a blanket socialist restriction simply because SE is too cheap to hire people to investigate harassment reports? Why does anyone think this ban was the number one best solution, when it completely absolves one party (bad/lazy players) AND the company of any personal responsibility?
