Well the achievements aren't in the Seasonal Event tab, and the MGP vendor for this isn't in the game. So most likely the PvP elements of the GARO event will be in the game for good while the Gold Saucer event will be limited time only. But yeah, a dev clarification would help a lot. Also that's not an offical translation so it could be mistaken.Well, like it was said in other thread by Ibi: http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...=1#post3997995
"The period in which you can do it will be longer than the Yokai Watch collaboration.."
It'd help if SE would come and clear the situation.

It's stuff like this which makes me wonder if they listen at all, inventory space is a major issue (thankfully they're addressing) but where do they expect us to put all this.
They don't, according to YoshiP, he'd like us to just throw stuff away to make room. Seriously, this whole inventory space bit would be solved if they'd just take a page from wow and add a damn glamour catalog that records all the appearances of items we've attained thus far. Of all the things to copy from wow, THIS, would be the one to copy... instead of garrisons.... *shudder*
Of course they won't do this since they'd lose out on retainer fees ;P

If it were a time limited event, SE would've made a Lodestone post about the start and end dates, like they've done with every other event.Well, like it was said in other thread by Ibi: http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...=1#post3997995

I'm hoping they change this
Since its the new i235 pvp gear...think thats here to stay. As such, assuming its the accomplishments thats here for just a limited time (the 60 wins being able to be completed in 1 day alone from just spamming 8 vs 8) Not seeing the problem unless ya just WANT all the gear. Thought the event was/is going well.

You get a title from having all the gear though so it's obviously being encouraged. Admittedly if they would clarify how permanent this is it would make throwing it all away less depressing![]()
It's not just a collab stuff but also a "real" stuff (in opposition to other event's ones which were here only for glam) so I doubt we'll be abble to stock them in the armoir :/
People don't know how to take criticism anymore, and bad play is rewarded with with a coddling mentality. Yes, this is a casual game for the most part - that doesn't mean people need to walk on eggshells in fear of getting reported for pointing out things. This whole 'please don't say anything even slightly negative' mentality that we seem to be going towards and the devs seemingly pushing towards it is creating a disturbing trend.
