Yokai watch was collab too..and we got to store that.Thing is, from everything we've seen, Garo is a Collab, not an event. If the Collab had a duration to it then putting them into armoire would be justified however this appears to be content that is here to stay so that's the reason why you can't store it.
I think there was either a mistake in translation, they changed their minds or people assumed it was an "event" witha secondary option to obtain the gear for those who didn't want to do PVP. But considering that these pieces are what appear to be the best pvp gear you can obtain as of now, it seems more likely that this content is just a lot of busy work to keep those who want achivements to stay busy til 4.0. Lastly, if you look at the Battle-Wolve's Den Achievement list, the achievement to obtain the mounts is listed under that and not hidden/under the seasonal list which further suggest that this is content that is staying in the game.
Friend/recruitment code for special items and things (use before paying first sub) RACN78W5 (updated) info on items here http://sqex.to/Cz9 code is entered via the mogstation.

That's because the Yokai Watch collaboration event was only around for a limited amount of time, and nearly all of the recently allowed armoire items have been things that aren't always obtainable.
There's no indication that the GARO gear is going away, therefore the gear can be obtained at any time.

Well, like it was said in other thread by Ibi: http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...=1#post3997995That's because the Yokai Watch collaboration event was only around for a limited amount of time, and nearly all of the recently allowed armoire items have been things that aren't always obtainable.

"The period in which you can do it will be longer than the Yokai Watch collaboration.."
It'd help if SE would come and clear the situation.
Well the achievements aren't in the Seasonal Event tab, and the MGP vendor for this isn't in the game. So most likely the PvP elements of the GARO event will be in the game for good while the Gold Saucer event will be limited time only. But yeah, a dev clarification would help a lot. Also that's not an offical translation so it could be mistaken.Well, like it was said in other thread by Ibi: http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...=1#post3997995

If it were a time limited event, SE would've made a Lodestone post about the start and end dates, like they've done with every other event.Well, like it was said in other thread by Ibi: http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...=1#post3997995

Yokai watch was an event with an end date, Garo is maybe ingame forever (not an collab event, but a collab content).
It is part of the 3.5 patch note, and not announced as an event.
Therefor a player have time to toss not needed parts away and farm them later again.

That's still not an excuse to give people so many items to get, give us an incentive to actually get everything, and not have a good place to store it, especially since they already know most people have critical inventory issues.
I mean, is there something about the armoire that makes it so hard for us to store items in there?
