Korean Server Merges

The Korean and Chinese servers are not run by SE. NEXON for Korea and Shanda Games for China. SE directly manages and maintains the JP, EU and NA servers.

What I'm implying is what happens to those servers probably has no bearing on ours.

What does who run the servers have to do with poor game design? If you have been around long enough hell since 1.0 all we hear is not enough resources or wasn't design to be fixed that way. It is pretty obvious that if SE had to merge servers right now they would probably have to destroy houses. That would look bad for them so if any server has a negative cost they suck it up, Nexon doesn't have the same publicity to worry about.

With that said about current game design. In early 3.0 it was discussed about adding ishgard housing and allowing transfers. Since I doubt it takes TWO years to design a housing district. They probably have not gotten transfer system worked out, which may or may not allow them future server changes.
