The only thing I've found around that is glamouring a job-specific piece over the item to be glamoured. Example, I have the 250 crafted boots on my healers. I glamoured the whm AF boots (the dyeable i55) over them, so it uses one look for the whm and another for the sch and ast.

Issue with this is when you start to get into BiS stuff you're mix and matching sets, so your base glamour will look like poop with nothing over it depending on which pieces from which of the sets you have to use. :r I posted in another thread about the glamour system saying how last tier my SCH/WHM looked like an anorexic version of the Michelin Man because I was using the AST job gear (AST being my main job) as glamours and the mix of gear that was beneath those glamours was... not flattering. ;;;;The only thing I've found around that is glamouring a job-specific piece over the item to be glamoured. But yeah, I agree. The glamour system needs some reworking.

I've done that, I do that currently with my BRD/MCH glamour, I use the dyable BRD pants, however if I play my MCH it has to go around in gross pants that don't fit with the rest of my glamour because it was a BRD specific piece used. A system that allowed you to attach the glamour to jobs themselves rather than the gear would be so much better for glamouring multiple jobs that happen to be wearing the same gear. Honestly, who wants their jobs to look the same or get screwed out of using job specific gear because it's going to look gross on any other job you're wearing that piece of gear on? Because face it, most of the time people glamour cause the current gear is just bad XDThe only thing I've found around that is glamouring a job-specific piece over the item to be glamoured.
