I actually feel the same way. That nothing I say gets through either. You need tolerance, some people will play how they want to and some try to play your way and cant, and some are lazy, you cant change the world you have to live in it people are people this is social game. Ill still do the best I can but some may THINK Im lazy if I dont dps in an odd rare instance in current content. But It wouldnt be true its that I cant at that time
I feel like Im completey wasting my time here but need to say, not all of us are dpsers full stop I have summoner at 252 cant dps for shit, 700dps was last parser I saw on thordan not cos Im not trying, but cos Im shit full stop. That is why I play healer. Same way some dps cannot heal, some can do both, 'applauds'. For me changing to dps while Im healing requires me to learn a different role, than what I normally play. Loking at completely different spells targetting different way. Hope you all get this, it will take me longer to switch. Not talking about the odd dot Im talking about being expected to do 1k dps in a raid, take up the other healer's slack , still keep the others and myself alive. Thats why I want my role redefined as a healer. And I would like you all to realise that I may not be the only person that nvr dpses cos they tried and its simply not the way they can play well. Cos ppl are different. I will have to stop playing this game if there are only dps on it.
This is probably my favorite post of yours. I have nearly infinite patience for people who are honest-to-god trying, and I don't think that only the very best players have a right to enjoy the game (nor do the very best players become that way by being denied the opportunity to improve).I feel like Im completey wasting my time here but need to say, not all of us are dpsers full stop I have summoner at 252 cant dps for shit, 700dps was last parser I saw on thordan not cos Im not trying, but cos Im shit full stop. My minimum expectation of healers I group with is similar to that of DPS and tanks I group with: that they try. Just as I run into highly geared DPS who take forever to kill Xelphatol bosses, I also run into tanks who do okay aside from camping their defensive stance, and I meet healers who throw random DoTs between heals, sometimes forgetting to use CS. I'm generally okay with that, and I think many other players of a similar mindset are okay as long as they perceive effort. It's the blatant standing around, jumping in place, or mid-fight chest-opening tours that piss people off.

No one cares that you do 1k dmg a raid, even i would find that difficult to do at times without pots and food.(However dungeon runs and holy/assize/aero 3 can easily net a white mage thousands of DPS for every big pull which is why your highly encourage to do it.) You are already a normal player and don't really need to defend the players who enjoy healing only. You are not the one we end up getting mad at, the ones who don't try are the ones. So yes maybe you are wasting your time, not because of what you think, but because you were never really the target of our main criticism in the first place. You try and are willing to take advice and grow and learn. There is nothing wrong with that. It's only the entitled player who don't even try who are the ones we criticize. I deal with toxic players all the time too, not all of us are dps edge lords, i don't parse anyone at all i just expect players to not stand around during a fight and constantly be at full mp.I feel like Im completey wasting my time here but need to say, not all of us are dpsers full stop I have summoner at 252 cant dps for shit, 700dps was last parser I saw on thordan not cos Im not trying, but cos Im shit full stop. I don't know why I'm replying to you. I feel you ignored my last post to you completely.I actually feel the same way. That nothing I say gets through either. Again, I have no problem with how you play.
She's not gonna listen. Feyona is having some low self esteem issues for real. She explained how in her tidbit about her life as a DPS and why she went a healer. This debate has been long over.
This shouldn't even be a discussion anymore. If you don't dps as a healer you're playing inefficiently and being a bad healer. Healers that only heal, from experience, have the worst reaction time and can't heal when it actually matters.
And you seem to have some real control issues that almost seemed to give you a breakdown the other night. Cos two people disagreed with you. Thanks for proving my point.
