Omega is probably going to be treated similarly to Bahamut. It's there to do this and that for a bit in 3.5/3.55 and then disappears until the end of 4.0's story. Will probably (or most likely) have nothing to do with the Ivalice raid.

The main question is: How much do people know about the other plans in motion? Sure the Ascians or at least Elidibus knows everything cause that's his shtick. Being all: "just according to keikaku" regardless of what is happening.
The way things seem:
- Nero knows about Omega and has plans for it.
- If Nero is to be believed, the Garleans know of Omega and have plans independant of what Nero is planning. They also might not know that Nero is still around.
- The Griffin has no idea about Omega, but he has the eyes of Nidhogg and has plans with it.
- Elidibus definitely knows about the eyes as he gave them to the Griffin, but most likely made sure that his agenda is furthered regardless of the Griffin succeeding or not.
- The Alliance and the Scions know about Omega, about Nero being around, about the Griffin being around and planning something involving primals against the Garleans (as that's what he was working on int 3.4) and the Scions at the very least probably count on an Ascian Overlord or two being behind at least one of the plans. I mean they should take it for granted after all their scheamings. But they have no freakin idea that the Eyes of Nidhogg are no longer in that bottomless pit.
- And there is Ada Wong somewhere in all of this, who is a complete blank regarding her affiliation and knowledge of the other players.
Most likely yes. I didn't mean to imply that the storylines will connect. Previous raids never did that. Although there is some connection between the Crystal Tower and the Coil. But if we go to the actual real Ivalice we have to cross the interdimensional rift. So if Omega Weapon is sealed inside the rift, then that is a common theme between the two at least.

Thinking back now to speculation that started during the last XI event: Iroha is going to reappear and be the SAM job IF SAM comes in 4.0 (since apparently she had the Samurai Job in XI)
If SAM is not a part of 4.0 she will still appear, but as part of the DRG storyline.
Precisely. She got the idea from the card Louisoix played against Bahamut, without knowing that the faith and aether concentrated at the time of his death ultimately ended up summoning Louisoix himself, who then dedicated the next five years to reconstructing Bahamut beneath Thanalan so that he might finish his fiery revenge against mankind.
So really, it's a stupid, messy, dangerous card to play, even if you truly do wish to nobly give your life for your noble cause. Hopefully our allies will be well and truly off that kick once they see it performed by a dangerous, yet charismatic, lunatic.

From what i'v seen, the unknow primal appearing at first sigh as white dalamud is luring Omega weapon, while the second is charging a huge blast it looks like it's been stoped at the last moment. The huge blast might be the thing inside dalamud breaking free...
(BTW inst it the same Nid Eyes at first sight in dalamud ? it look the same as the one during Thordan's fight)

Unless they are going back on their word, we will not be going to the real Ivalice.
While I do think SAM is a contender for a new job, since we have Doma (and Yugiri reentering the narrative), Iroha seems... I dunno... unnecessary?

Could be one of those "Two sides of the same coin" storylines where in Omega Raid we see events unfold in the Dimensinal Rift and cause certain events to happen in Ivalice Raid while in Ivalice Raid we see events unfold into dealing with a different "Dimentional Being" that is from the Dimensional Rift while also sparking events that will lead into Omega Raid story Events. Most likely yes. I didn't mean to imply that the storylines will connect. Previous raids never did that. Although there is some connection between the Crystal Tower and the Coil. Two different Endgame Final bosses but both are related and connected to each other.
Guild Wars 2 did this with the final boss of Heart of Thorns where the Main Storyline event is happening at the same time as the Final Map Meta boss event where the Meta Map event is a direct battle with the Final boss's body and the Main Storyline Mission is a direct battle with a different part of the Final Boss. The Meta map would explain why the Story Mission boss is weakened and physically killed while the story mission explained why the Final boss died at the final moment of the Meta Map event due to both happening at the same time.
With the Dimensional Rift they can pull this plot off if they follow that time moves differently in the Dimensional Rift if players have a WoL going through both Omega and Ivalice storyline.

I think those speculating about human sacrifice are missing the obvious answer, if you look at the scene timing in the videos. The Eyes go berserk and the primal is summoned after the mass of death at Baelsar's Wall. Whether it is related or a misdirection is up to you.
Pro DPS tactic: Big glowing orange AOE = "Stand here to boost your DPS!"

No, we totally got that part. I think none of us doubt that the Eye summons a primal thanks to all the death. Questions are: Which Primal is summoned, who was in on the plan, how does Omega fit into all of this, what will the Garleans do if they realise that humans can summon primals and even turn into one?
Nidhogg is no more, though - so unless I'm mistaken I don't believe the eyes are sentient any longer. Surely they're just 'aether batteries' at this point in time. Unless, of course, Lahabrea is returning once more to wreak havoc...
