    yes, the act of deflecting a physical attack towards you translates into more damage. Lets just add more DPS numbers to a purely defensive stat.

    While we're at it, lets add shield spikes to the game so PLD can do DPS every time they block.

    I'll gladly cleave DRGs now so they use keen flurry so they can add their DPS in too.

    I find it a bit funny that a WAR wants counterattack damage to parries. i mean, its not like they already have a counterattack. Or the highest parry rate of the tanks. I mean, why wouldn't they want parry procs... RI totally needs to be Vengeance, too...


    I want parry to do something as well. I hate the fact Tanks get shafted with a stats that is actually numerically useless. Thats a load of crap. However tying damage into a defensive stat? that's asking for trouble. At best, I want it to maybe enable more damage instead. I think just making it negate damage, or at least reduce more than blocking would be better

    i agree, and my suggestion for parry i posted a while ago was that they remove the parry battle effect from the parry stat. the parry battle effect will stay in the game and then you will have a fixed chance to parry (like 10% ~ 15% or so), so you can use your increased parry cds and procc reprisal and low blow. so the devs don't have to rework these skills.

    and the parry stat is free to do something compleley different with it, like a defensive determination for example.
