She doesn't care whether or not the player is a guy or girl, but she is asking the character to be male because she wants to her partner be male.
Well like I said before I have been with guys playing as girl characters and you know that never really bothered me if it was a guy behind the girl just as long as he was playing as a girl character cause you know I like to role play the whole girl on girl thing if you catch my drift but it would be really nice to have a relationship with an actual girl this time around
