I'm not gonna do the extreme thing and be all I'm quitting if they do this or the dev team are jerks for doing this but... I don't like it at all. I don't want someone else to have access to what took me 3ish years to gain if they didn't do the same work.

Playing games is about recreation and fun, not about work.
