Well to be fair it's one of the few styles that aren't represented. As I stated above, if you want the muscular big dudes you've got Roegadyn and Highland Hyur. I mean IMO Highland Hyur is already kind of the middle between the biggest (Roegadyn) and the average (Midland Hyur). Not all guys have to be quite muscular

This design gives those who want the "lithe and slender", as someone stated above, characters their option. Those who want muscular guys already have their options. It at least adds some diversity into the character types that are out there.

It would be nice to see slender guys and masculine girls. I hate having to change genders just because I don't want to be giant muscle beast..

Yes, but in FFXIV the two Miqo'te clans have been established as very similar looking. There are some slight variances in tail shape, ear shape, eyes, etc... but overally they look very similar. That precedent has been set, as such the males should also reflect that. There should be slight variances between the two clans but overall they should look similar.

That one concept art image with the black haired manqote makes him seems to be slimmer than midlanders, and that looks okay. they'll either be reskinned midlanders with tails and new faces or something like this.

It's only directed to the people who play as cat women and fear their futur choice of cat males won't be as manly as they hoped. Which is ironic on several levels.

Not necessarily, considering female Mi'qote has been the only option up 'til now for those who want to play that race.

It would be like saying it's ironic that people who play male Roegadyn want the females to be more feminine.

There's really not much of an option at this point for those who want to play those races.

People may simply like female characters to be more feminine and male characters to be more masculine.. Not sure what's so "ironic" about that.

I'd prefer it if they didn't appear at all. I know they aren't Mithra and so the same rules shouldn't have to apply but it still doesn't seem fitting to have them to me.

I was hoping they'de look like Rei from Breath of Fire III, but he concept art makes them appear more kitty than tiger.
