


Exactly. It's tantamount to arguing that there is no point to anyone excelling in their role since overperforming players somehow encourage everyone else to underperform, and experience teaches me that, for the majority, this is not the case.They're arguing that good healers that contribute good DPS will make the real DPS of the game complacent because they feel they would just get carried through content via the healer's DPS contribution. Which isn't really the case because bad and lazy players will be bad and lazy regardless of what the good players do. And good DPS will complement good healer's by making content end significantly faster than normal. There's no such thing as "too much DPS" unless it causes auto-wipe triggers like it does in AAR EX Primals (which the Dev's seem to thankfully be omitting now).
