Just gonna leave this here. I hope everyone is mentally prepared for 4.0. Since everyone wants to use WoW as an example.

PLEASE DO NOT DO THIS, YOU DEVALUE THE ENTIRE GAME. By doing this it will let players bypass the entire world, which is kind of like world of warcraft which is why their subscription base is declining and declining. You say youre getting tousands of players constantly joining? Its because they want to play a game. Get this pay to win shit out of here, especially for a game we pay monthly for.

Also, this is Preach Gaming, who is notorious for making cynical videos. Since 2014, WoW are made great strides in perfecting the "jump potion" or "level boost" to be more sensitive to the terminology. Back in 2014, WoW just gave you end game gear and threw you into end game raids. Now, you are given lower tier gear and forced to go through a short tutorial which teaches you how the bulk of your abilities work, and even how they work together.
P.S.: You don't need a jump potion to see droves of bad players in Duty Finder. I already avoid the DF like the plague for this very reason as is.
Deflecting from reality? The date has nothing to do with it and your opinion of the guy is irrelevant.> Published on Mar 17, 2014

The date has a ton to do with it. This was the 1st iteration of WoW's level booster. Currently, in 2016, they are on their third iteration of the level booster, which has been much more refined. Nobody from WoW has complained about level boosters for at least a year, possibly more. Not only that, it did not "ruin the game." In fact, it has been wildly successful and the game (WoW) is doing better now than it has in years. Part of that is due to new and returning players being able to skip the OLD/OUTDATED CONTENT WHICH NOBODY IS DOING ANYMORE, and jump right into the action with their friends.

Except the valid point is that what Preach was complaining about was boosted players suddenly doing the current raid tier. This potion in its current form brings you to 3.0 with at best 120 gear.
I'm completely for the jump potion.

Jump potion doesn't boost anyone to max lvl. You will NEVER be in a raid group with a freshly boosted character in FF14. At the very least they would likely have had to play there class for 20-40 hours of lvling before they even reach endgame. The jump potion boosts people to the max level of the LAST expansion. If you used it today you would get a lvl 50 character.
The negative impact of WoW's Level Boost has been relatively minor except for when they allowed boosted players to use their boost pre expansion release. The decline WoW suffers is purely due to issues with its endgame content. That said WoW recently reported its highest level of Concurrent players since Wrath when it had 12 million subs.PLEASE DO NOT DO THIS, YOU DEVALUE THE ENTIRE GAME. If we don't get a steady stream of new players reaching endgame this game will die. It won't be quick. It will be very slow but slowly the game will bleed out. People stop playing for many reasons beyond gameplay. Player churn is inevitable. The issue the game currently has with new player retention has to be resolved.

You can beg and plead all you want. Their mind is made up and it's happening

I am all for the jumps.... it will allow people to play the game how best suits them and the time they have avaliable. I for one would buy the jump to the start of 3.0.
I see nothing wrong with them at all.

I disagree vehemently. Trying out numerous MMOs over the years, I'd always give up before ever hitting the level cap. FFXIV is the first one I played where I not only hit the cap, but went on to happily level everything to cap.
