MM have you checked with your friends if one of their house is on demo as well? This morning I logged in and the demolition message was still there. I kicked all the tenants, removed and replaced all the furniture, changed light settings, left my friends' homes.
The message is now gone. I'm not sure what did it but it definitely was one of those things. I don't think GMs did anything. I did take screenshots just in case.
Thank you all for the suggestions.
maybe the bug is showing some people the timer of friends houses getting demo'ed because your they are tenants?

I can personally confirm that tenants do see the timers of the house(s) they are are on (after it's past 30 days and it shows up in the list), although as expected tenants can't reset the timer themselves.

To preface, I do own a house. This is not sour grapes speaking.
While I don't agree with how Lillycookie worded her complaint, it is valid. If you love housing, you do spend time in it. I'm typically in mine at LEAST once a day, often more. My husband's, too. I use them for gardening, and hubby's is our base of operations, with a full compliment of vendors, my "glam station" (Armoire, Crystal Bell, and Summoning Bell), and the Unending Journey. With all that, we never have to go to the Inns, or hunt down menders and basic vendors. I spend a lot of time crafting and gardening there, and we do have friends over. Our houses see a lot of use. I can't imagine only really using it once per patch.
"Tanks don't read chat, they just type in it."

Just to because I don't spend a lot of time in my house doesn't mean that I don't love my house. I love decorating and I get to have a frenzy when new furnishings are out every patch. I have about 1000 pieces of furnishings on an alternative characters just to decorate. The day to day functions like hanging out in it, having friends over, gardening ect is not really something that I do or am interested in... any practical features that houses provide (vendors, summoning bell) I just use my FC house for since it's closer to a market board then my personal house. I'm just saying, people enjoy content in different ways, and my way of enjoying personal housing is that I like to go on a frenzy once a patch on decorating with new furnishings(and I also go to lots of random houses to check out what other people did). Does that make me like housing any less then you do? Idk how much you like it but like I said it's one of the only reasons I continue to play this game. My real issue with Lillycookie's post was that it seemed like they were just saying that the OP shouldn't have a house even though they were following the rules that SE put in. IMO that is not right, regardless of what he/she is doing with their house.
But main issue we should all be focusing on is that if people are following the rules that SE has put in place, people shouldn't be losing there houses. If they are losing their house even after following those rules, then that is a real problem and that needs to get fixed.

Well woopdie doo, some of us like to go out into the game, have FC houses to visit, etc. A house isn't a ball and chain. Ill do with it as I please. To preface, I do own a house. This is not sour grapes speaking.

No need to be snarky, dude, I'm just saying she has a valid gripe. I go out into the game, have an FC house to visit, etc, too, but my house is my castle. I can't imagine having it and only rarely visiting it, and I can imagine it must be incredibly frustrating for someone who desperately wants one to actually get some use out of, to watch them sit vacant.

It's impossible to say that certain ones are sitting vacant though. Many of my neighbors play during hours I'm not on. There's an off chance that I might see them on a weekend or holiday but that's about it. One of my neighbors spent 2 months waiting to run into me because they wanted me to be part of their FC. I was at my house daily gardening. No need to be snarky, dude, I'm just saying she has a valid gripe. I go out into the game, have an FC house to visit, etc, too, but my house is my castle. Hmmm what are you supposed to do with it? Unless we are supposed to have a tea party and play with our calca/brina dolls. I have my house decorated and only actually enter it to make sure the timer doesn't starts. Now yes I can redecorate later but not going to be doing it every 30 days. Everything else that I do daily is outside the house and really no need to ever enter it.What about you actually use the house? If you never visit it in 45 days and you only "move in to ring the bell and move stuff around", then you shouldnt have a house. That simple.
It is rediculous that many people look for a house for their FC and people like you who never even visit the house think they are entitled to keep it.
Also the timer is stupid anyway I shouldn't be forced to turn up to my house in the time period anyway. I am an active player and on every day 8+ hours. If SE wants us to enter the house more then give us a reason to and yes like others said if I redecorate it will be at least every 90 - 120 days. If they can't actually make content for it then it should be tied to my account and the timer should reset every time I pay for the game.

I'm glad that an "active player" is using a limited resource so much....This morning I got an email from SE, 3 day notice of my demolition of my personal house. My character is active with a 6 month subscription paid in advance. I haven\\'t been inactive for 45 days.
This morning I checked the timers tab in game and I saw the demo message. According to the email if you log in the timer will reset, it didn\\'t. I\\'ve tried logging out and in to see if it resets, removed my tenant but still the message is there. I\\'ve sent in a ticket to support.
Has this happened to anyone else?
