What about you actually use the house? If you never visit it in 45 days and you only "move in to ring the bell and move stuff around", then you shouldnt have a house. That simple.

It is rediculous that many people look for a house for their FC and people like you who never even visit the house think they are entitled to keep it.

He's paying a subscription, he's probably got a real life. I'd say if he's paying for the game, paid for the house, he's within his rights to keep said house. Especially since this thread is addressing the BUG that an ACTIVE PLAYER can lose their house...? It's not entitlement to keep something you worked for and are following the guidelines to keep.

You best figure that shit out now. I just lost my house because of this. A glitch or something I don't know but I got a house with me and my friend, my friend bought it for me he was in and out of the house constantly but the timer still ticked down and lost it. No chance on getting it back since the community isn't that forgiving.

Either literally every person is lying about actually stepping foot in a personal house that they themselves owned or they are giving up on this matter far too easily. At the absolute worst the people that this happens to should get 100% of all gil and every single item they had in the house back. Anything less than that would be unacceptable.

Okay I have a huge problem with this. Saying someone should lose their house because they only go in every 45 days to ring the bell and move the furnishings around a little.... they are following the rules set forth by SE, you enter your house once every 45 days to reset the timer, that is what they said you have to do the keep your house, and that is how it should be.

Look, the housing features are super limited as is. A patch comes out, what? Once ever freaking 3 - 4 months (which is 90 - 120 days) where they actually implement new furnishings or housing features. I only use my house realistically once every patch because you know what, new furnishings come out and I really like to decorate with new furnishings. I have invested millions of gil on furnishings and I love my house, and I am probably more invested in the housing system then a lot of people. Are you telling me I should lose my house because the majority of the patch (the 90-120 days) I don't use my house constantly even though I follow the rules set forth by SE which is you enter your house before 45 days? Even though there's no new content associated with housing for 120 days? That's BS if that's what you are saying.

Look, I understand you are probably frustrated with the housing system, which you should be. There are many things about the housing system that is wrong and that they should fix, but telling people that you shouldn't have a house because you don't go use it constantly for whatever reason, like personal housing the only thing you can really do in there is decorate it, or I guess role-play in it if that's your sort of thing. Other features you can get with personal housing are in other parts of the game, its just convenient to have them all in a centralized place. The only real benefit you may get is gardening but most people are to lazy to even keep up with gardening in the first place to the point where I almost never see a garden at this point. Not arguing about FC airships, I don't think FC houses and Personal Houses should have shared the same system in the first place.

And I hope this is not the case that people are losing their houses after checking it, following the rules that SE set forth. Housing is one of the few things I really really enjoy about this game. I am super paranoid about losing my house and I check it once a month (realistically once every 2 weeks) to make sure I do not lose it. If people really are losing their houses after checking it, that's a huge problem.

I have had my house for a few months it was a gift from a friend who knew I fiddle with my housing daily. I even have 2 dedicated retainers for the furnishings. Well I had a hurricane come through and had to take time away luckily my FC mates alerted me to the demo status (because SE didnt send me a single email) and I got on moved a few things around and accessed my summoning bell in the house. That should have reset the timer that was 3 weeks ago I am now able to play more and get back into the swing of things and I come back to find my house is gone someone else owns I was standing at the gate of my old house that how shitty it was to log into it I put in a ticket not response.

If it is as you described and that there is some bug with the House not detecting someone using it and not resetting the kaboom-trigger, that is really bad. I would be really pissed if I was losing my house not because of me, but because of some bug (T.T)

When you say gift from a friend, do you mean they gave you the money to buy it, or they bought it and added you to it? If they bought it then they're the owner and the only one who gets emailed (or can stop the demolition timer. It also has to be with that same charater as well (in case they bought it with an alt for example...)

They had the plot gave it up for me and gave me the gil to buy it. It was mine I personally owned it

I am mad I was going to spend my winter break playing and resubbing but whats the point if this kind of thing happens.
