Duty Finder is filled with lazy, awful players who couldn't be arsed to learn even the basics of their job. They had to complete all the MSQ and possibly all job quests associated with their job and it accomplished nothing. A person who skips the aforementioned MSQ isn't an inherently bad, and shouldn't be judged on the basis they didn't like the story and opted to skip it. The point I was illustrating is anyone can learn how to play at any time. You do not need to have completed the MSQ nor read any of the quests to become a good player. You just have to have a willingness to improve and practice. That mindset is not exclusive to the MSQ.

What's the point in a Final Fantasy game title or playing a Final Fantasy game that is ALL ABOUT story? Final Fantasy has always focused on the story. Granted, all the content for PvE is endgame or ground content with nothing to show for it in the middle, and I do get it that players will be lazy, if you don't take the time to invest, or willing to want to play and enjoy a story based mmo that's heavily wrapped in lore, you'd be better off playing a sports game. You'll still meet the end goal, but you don't need to worry about it, as you can skip everything to your hearts content and get to the superbowl in madden without worries.

Yes, I understand these are two totally different subjects in MSQ and Endgame. What happens when those QQers get their max level, and still complain that the content is too hard? They rage quit because THIS CONTENT IS TOO HARD I DONT WANT TO PLAY ANYMORE! THIS ISNT LIKE CALL OF DUTY! Q_Q -- and they leave. End of the day, squeenix gets the money, and nothing changes about the player base. The players don't win, and it just makes this all the more likely to turn around and make a joke or be the brunt of the community joke standards. It starts with DRGs on the floor, and ends with new players who buy jump pots on a barely 3 years young mmo rpg.

Sorry, i couldn't care less about the story on this game and I'm still having fun on it and not planing on leaving... Don't just go assuming that everyone is on the game for the same reasons as you are. And MMO is about that, having multiple options and you pick the one that suits you better.

I dunno why bringing COD on that, do you feel superior cause you're playing FF and not COD? And those who complain would complain anyway, the problem is that you're thinking that only lazy ppl with zero knowledge of MMO will use the potion, but that is not exactly the truth. What about all the ppl that are doing hardcore content on other MMO and want to give a try on this one? They don't want to go level all over again, they want to try the endgame to see if it's as good or better than their previous MMO.

It's also hypocritical to say vets should get it while new players dont, which is why I didn't add the bit in there lol. Because I'd be a hypocrite about it too. As a few people have mentioned, people who pay or play mmo's, have a general understanding what and how mmo's work. It's the same reason that people complained about Destiny and the difference between a FPSMMO and just a game they decide to play in their free time and continue to pay for it through xbox live or psn.

What does it matter? Some people do not care about the story. Why should you, I or anyone else get to dictate what they find fun? I know someone who couldn't name a single scion, but has cleared Savage and stays consistently subbed. I know another person who only plays this game to roleplay. She hasn't even unlocked all the dungeons yet because she just doesn't care to. Telling them to play a sports game is projecting your subjective opinion onto them. Perhaps they just fancy the gameplay, crafting, roleplaying or stick around for friends. People play games for a multitude of reasons. Even those who do like the story, have quit due to the enormous amount of gated content.

Who cares? No offense, but you putting far too much value in how people play this game. What someone else decides to do is their business. If they only fancy raiding, by all means. Let 'em raid. It's no concern of mine how they play, provided it doesn't hinder my own experiences (a potion skip doesn't).
