And I never said I didn't was against doing leveling dungeons. I meant, from what I've seen, is that maybe other people would like to experience the content that was advertised in the new expansion.

This is a point that kinda messes with me a bit actually. With Heavensward i wonder how much of the MSQ frustration came from the jobs being gated behind Ishgard access when they were lvl 30. I can see the avarage player being aware that they will have to progress through a games stories or campaigns or play modes. Still a person would assume that a lvl 30 would become available at lvl 30. Always felt that if the HW jobs had been accessible for new players to continue their "game" with said advertised jobs, it mighta eased the MSQ woes considerably. And it coulda been as simple as a lvl 30 sidequest that "sneaks" you into the city.

Good things come to those who wait. Well, unless you have $$$$ now. Then you can have all the good things you want.

I was tired of the "boo hoo why can't i play dakr night!!!!!!!" complaints before the expansion even came out. It's pathetic. If someone can't wrap their head around having to unlock things in a video game they probably weren't ever going to have more than a month of fun anyway.

Well what I mean is a "new job" tends to be a very big addition to an MMO in the current market style for MMOs. I know alot of ppl that were disappointment that they couldn't experience the game as DRK asap for example. These persons would then have to go and feel "rushed" to get to ishgard to experience the job that was prolly their biggest motivation for trying the game in the first place. As I said some things you can reasonably expect to be there, like clearing a games content as you are going through it, but having to wait for something as major as a job for potentially a week+ can be very disheartening.

If someone is so set on playing a job, they can unlock it like an adult instead of feeling entitled to instant gratification. The correct response to this isn't to refuse to play anything else.
