    I know most if not all of these questions have been asked already, but just to get there importance across I'll ask again:

    1) Will the system requirements be raised for XIV 2.0?

    2) Is there any plans to make crafting actually use the other options besides Standard Synthesis?

    3) What will become of Retainers and the Market Wards if an Auction House style system is implemented?

    Got another question:

    The new auto-equip gear sets that you mention say that items equipped to these sets will not take up inventory space. Will we be able to equip the same item to multiple mannequin sets? What if I have a couple of melee classes at similar levels and each gear set features the same set of +Accuracy rings? Will the new system be able to accommodate this?

    Edit: Will we be able to sell/trade/bazaar items directly from the Mannequins, or will they need to be returned to normal inventory prior to doing any of these things?

    Just wondering why you think you should charge for a game that lacks way to much content.When and if 2.0 comes out this game isnt worth paying for. I might as well go bac to FF11 if your going to charge for an incomplete game. There are alot of other games on the market that are free and are way better the FF14. I feel you should start charging for the game when it is complete who wants to pay for incomplete game.

    I understand that SE knows that many of the mid-cores and casuals will not subscribe to the game during 2011-2012. SE is only counting on some income from the hardcore players. Best of luck to you I suppose. I enjoy logging in for a few minutes every few weeks but paying a subscription fee for the flawed server architecture makes me feel like I'm betraying my own sense of responsibility.

    First off, the v2 plan looks great.

    Wishes and hopes for 2.0:
    1) Graphics - Support for DX11 should be added to make full use of modern PC hardware. The PS3 client must also not interfere with or limit in any way, with the development of the PC client. Please do not limit yourself to DX11 either, who knows what Microsoft will throw out in the future!

    2) Community developer support - I applaud the move to support customizable UI. Please also consider syndication for webpages, API for local tools. Unlike console gamers, there is a small but significant number of us who will like to express our love for the game by making tools and utilities. Other possibilities include opening up the item database in the client for us to peruse or the log database.

    3) Zone shrinking - Please do not make the zones overly small. Despite the repetitive art assets, there is still an attraction value to large zones. Seamless worlds is what MMOs should be, not a meld-fest of small instances.

    4) Make our birthdays worth something!

    5) More Dynamic content!

    I wanted to touch on this too, to me makeing the zones little more than cute mazes with loading screens between them makes the game feel like it has lost a world to play in. FFXI cut it very close for me, many of the zones felt way to small and had little to no point in actualy exploring away from the set paths that we were led down.
    Even nonMMO titles have suffered from this, FFXIII was a beautifull world but we got so little chance to explore it in earnist that I, nor any of my friends, have finished it... Okay Hope had something to do with it too.

    My point is, please make sure we still have areas big and open enough to be worth exploring. I would rather it stay seemless, perhaps suporting the maps with a better network of servers or setting up the new UI's to preload the comon textures to cut down on load times... Whatever works. The tools to help explore would also be welcome, swimming across rivers or jumping over rocks wouldn't hurt imersivness.

    With an all new game coming with all new landscapes, can we have a more in-depth gathering system? By this I mean can we visibly see the difference between a Maple Tree and an Oak Tree. Can we visibly identify a crop of Millicorn from a Rye Plant, etc. Along these lines, when we get player housing can we choose to use part of that land to farm our own crops?

    I for one don't mind paying for the game. I have enjoyed it from the beginning and it only gets better all the time.
    Just wondering if the game will be offline while they transfer us to the new servers.
