Queued up for trial roulette. Got Steps of Faith. Half the group cried tears of despair and ragequit before the barrier had even gone down (since we had a sproutling present).

Two minutes later after refilling, myself and one of the tanks man the cannons, and Vishap was dead not long after breaking the second barrier.

I have absolutely no idea why people still treat this particular trial this way. It's so easy these days you can beat it without even using the cannons or the dragonkillers, and still be done before he gets to the fourth section. Absolutely not worth taking a deserter penalty for.

Because your experience is dependent on the group, and frequently groups are still bad at this trial. My healer and Co tank both got this recently and their groups failed to clear and voted abandon. I wondered the same thing you did because I don't usually have trouble with it. Last week I queued for trial on BLM and got it.

One new person. The group ignored every single mechanic. No dragon killers. No cannons. Vishap broke through the final ward and still had about 30% or so of his HP. The melee used the LB3, fortunately, and somehow we managed to finish him off, literally ilms away from failure.

Because the Tanks thought it would be smart to repeatedly pull the entire Iron Giant group and NOT Turn off the Alarms and refused to reset aggro and kept pulling them thus causing us to die over and over

Not only would the healer and other DPS ignore every single boss mechanic, they also managed to not being able to keep the tank alive during trashpulls. That's with both tank and healer having at least an iLevel of 230 and 240 respectively.

The DPS dies during the second boss and says: "srrry i forgot". Why don't you tell me before we storm in? I have a "D" next to my "E", in case you haven't checked. Also, no bonus.
I would get marked with the red arrow (meaning: stack together) and what do both healer and DPS do? Run the f*ck away from me!
After we finish the second boss, our tank has enough and leaves the duty.

To the unlucky tank who joined us mid-duty: Thanks for actually knowing the mechanics and having some situational awareness.
Unlike the healer and DPS, who'd always stack their meteors next to each other and not run away from the proximity marker.

I am asking this in all seriousness, why do 95% of my encounters with German players in Duty Finder result in frustration? Anyone else having this problem?
I'm not trying to hate on the very few capable Germans out there (like myself *cough*) , but this is somehow something that always applies.

Maybe I should remove the "D" from my search options (lol).

I've never played with a German player as of yet, but I have played with a French player once. I'm not saying all French players are like this (since I've only seen the one), but she was the laziest healer I have ever seen. She was so bad the party kicked her.

My story now:

Stone Vigil NM as DRK. First thing I notice is the sprout AST is having a hard time keeping me up. Check and their weapon is Level 30. Okay... Gunna be a little slow but whatevers.

Yeah, I didn't even notice until after the second boss that the DRG wasn't using any cooldowns or Heavy Thrust. Ugh. I mention it to them so they start using Heavy Thrust, but only use Cooldowns on the last boss. Whatever.

I didn't even notice, because I was too preoccupied with not dying, but the BLM... I'm sorry I even said anything to the DRG. At least they were doing a decent rotation. I don't think I ever saw the BLM use Fire II and as a DRK who was always in Grit (the ENTIRE run) I did more DPS than the BLM. How..?

It doesn't matter where you come from or what language you speak... it's a universal truth that if there are terrible players out there, duty finder will send them straight to you. There is no escape from the 95%.

They're always queuing... watching for their chance to fail in your general vicinity...

The biggest issue I've experienced in Duty Finder are Tanks who are in to much of a rush. Had one in a level 60 hard mode dungeon a few weeks back who was just sprinting from boss to boss not waiting for the healer to catch up, pulled the main boss which got the healer locked out, and forced me to heal as a Summoner. OH! Had one Tank who showed up in no gear as well, and tried to run the Aery with just his weapon.

Your fix didn't fix anything.
I really mean it.

As long as I don't encounter any Germans, my Duty Finder runs usually go more than well. So well that I am sometimes scratching my head whenever I take a look at this thread.
"Where do they find all these bad players?" is what I am usually thinking.
From my experience, Duty Finder runs cause little problems on the Chaos Data Center. However, if I am to encounter a certain part of the playerbase....

This reminds me of a run I had with a tank who has lvl 60 heals and DPS. He pulled all giants and then said he didn’t know he wasn’t supposed to. "My first time tanking this place" he said.

He then proceeded to do it 3 more times after we explained that it’s a no no.
