Viera Should Of Happened

Okay, so we going to act like the XIV races (minus AuRa) aren't glaring similar to XI's races...
They're just so radically different.
Tarutaru's are a small, cute race that is slightly geared more towards magic, while Lala are a small, cute race that is slightly geared more towards magic with more proportionate heads.
Mithra's are cat people, Miqo'te are cat people but with less catty-bits.
Galka are a big, strongman-race with tails, Roe are a big, strongman-race without tails. (Granted, I'll give you Galka's asexual reproduction)

I never touched FFXI and I can tell you Mithra lore states males are so rare that they aren't even allowed out of their villages and had close ties with the Tarutaru. Females are abundant and are generally the leaders. Mithra were also purposely designed after jungle cats with their demeanor and skimpy clothing reflecting that nature. FFXIV's Miqo'te have no such lore behind them. Galka basically reincarnate with no recollection of their past life. The misconception that they are asexual is due to a mistranslation in the manual and they are male only. Interestingly enough, Hyur are sociable and promote interaction with the other races, unlike the Hume where they are apathetic toward their own realm's inhabitants. Generally, the bad guys were Hume in FFXI, unlike in FFXIV where we have the Garleans (unsure if they are a mutation of Hyur like the Padjal).

While the designs may look similar to a point, Hyur are not Hume. Miqo'te are not Mithra. Roegadyn are not Galka. Tarutaru are not Lalafell. Elvaan are not Elezen. Even if a rabbit- like race were to be implemented, they would still not be Viera. The only reason Viera got mentioned was because it was used an example. It was never a poll asking, "Hey, do you guys want Viera?" No. People misread the question and the misconception spread like wildfire because very few people do their own research. To even have the thread's title be "Viera Should Of Happened" is not only click-baity, but it's highly presumptuous.

I'm just saying. I don't care if Viera are put in or not ultimately.

Even if a rabbit- like race were to be implemented, they would still not be Viera.

I also don't want viera (for so many reasons), but asserting that the devs won't make it viera is silly. yokai from yokai watch don't have the same lore as their game, nor do the classic FF cosplay outfits, but that doesn't mean that SE wouldn't make the race 1) look the same, and 2) have the same name.

Honestly this game lacks young looking males and no I'm not talking about lalafells a new race that has their males height in between lalafells and miqote maybe and even if the females of this race happens to be taller than the males atleast it would be unique and different.... I don't know if anyone here agrees with me..

Numerous races can be designed to look very young regardless of their gender. Anything more and it'd enter 'creepy' territory - and I doubt I need to point out that there's a notable number of players who already sexualise everything that currently exists in-game. If you want to play a 'tall woman' then there's elezen and roegadyn women. The former is a bit more common than the latter from what I've seen in-game but they're still very niche and rare when compared to other playable races. Which suggests that more options along those lines wouldn't be worth the development resources.

I think Highlanders also fit this, you can make a highlander look pretty well travelled.

Maybe in 4.0 with PS3 support is gone they could probably add a lot more customization to that Age issue but still won't fix the Race issue with males height almost every male race is huge and tall except for male miqotes which I don't like or extremely short like lalafells a race somewhere in between would be great..

In 5.0 I want a unique race that is the opposite of Au'ra, with amazonian women, and tiny males :P Or maybe dwarfs, they would work for tiny males.

What exactly do you hope for, then, that you aren't getting from male miqo'te or male lalafell?

'Amazonian women' are already a thing in the form of female roegadyn and they're little more than a niche when compared to miqo'te/hyur. Dwarves could be added as NPC's in-game but they don't really fit the aesthetic of the current batch of playable races which is 'conventionally attractive with a few variations'.
