Date & Time: since patch 1.19
Frequency:every 30 minutes, sometimes more frequent
    Platform: windows pc

    OS: Windows 7
    Graphics Card:nvidia GTX 460
    ISP: Mediacom
    Type of Internet Connection:cable

I used to get frequent disconnects back when I had AT&T dsl. But when I switched to mediacom, they completely went away. Thought it was just because AT&T was terrible. After this patch, I'm getting disconnected at least every 30 minutes, but other times it's to the point where I can't finish a single craft without disconnecting.

I used to think it was completely on my end, but I played another MMO this weekend (which one I'm not supposed to say) and I didn't get disconnected AT ALL. So coming back to this one and not even being able to play is kind of infuriating. I'm not sure what other info I can give you other than the game isn't working...

Edit: I may have spoke too soon. I now think it's my ISP. Sometimes I can play all day without dcing (like when I played that other MMO) and other times I can't play for more than 10 minutes or so without getting kicked off. This apparently affects my roommates playing X-Box Live as well. I brought up the resource monitor to check out what was going on with my connection when I was disconnecting frequently. I was able to compare "Total Network Activity" to "Network Activity Related to FFXIV" and the trend was that I would have a stable connection most of the time, but whenever I dc from XIV, my "Total Network Activity" would sharply drop and spike for about 10 seconds and then return to normal. Of course it only takes one 0Kbps to drop me from the game...

TL;DR: I blame Mediacom, not SE. I decided to followup here since there's enough negativity on these forums without me adding false problems.

Thought it had gone away after the 1.19a patch... But today it seems to be back... Its happening around the same times of the day. Not had it happen before only since 1.19 patch was added.

Thanks for your personal opinion, you contributed a massive nothing to this thread.

For what it's worth, Virgin Media is trash too.

There are no other problems with TalkTalk apart from this game, currently, so keep your opinionated faggotry to yourself.

Dude I got talk talk as well and its crap and my friend has it also I got no reason to lie about that or you think talk talk can provide 10mbs just like Virgin Media? Make sure you read what Ofcom are saying tho I belive in the facts and its not my personal opinion.
