Can we get a ranged action for Monk please

Seriously don't know why chi blast isn't there. I mean it was in ffxi just feels lazy seeing how mnk is the only melee dps without a range ability. #mnkproblems

For ranged, Monk should get a ranged chakra/ki blast! Hopefully, Stormblood will bring this.

I'd rather have other utilities. If you played FFXI you should know how to pull in PotD without accident pulling extra. Since back in XI aggroibg 1 bunny would woop your butt.

*edit* Also, they have mentioned cutting down on limited use abilities. So the scenario when you have a group full of just monks and need to do a ranged pull is so limited I would be very surprised if they decided to add something just for that.

I understand that it was a limited situation but it still caused a wipe. It is also not a limited situation when going in solo and puts us at a huge disadvantage with other classes running it solo.

I am not even asking for the ranged action to cause damage, but having nothing is beyond stupid.

This is nothing like 11 all classes had some method of pulling carefully. Monk had Chi blast which had an 18 yalm range. Yes I know care etc should be taken to pull, but it is not pulling to walk up to an enemy and pray only one comes back with you.

Having just done that (and failing) it just says more of needing an item that can be thrown. Seriously let us take rocks into PotD for pulls and it'll even out.

Yeah I didn't mean a strong skill, could be 1 potency for all I care, just something to range pull.

Well we can do vertical hadoken, i dont see why we cant do horizontal hadoken lol
