Can we get a ranged action for Monk please

I'd had this thought in 2.0 but with form shift and meditate you have things to do when you are out of range and not able to attack. So instead of having a filler move like piercing talon and throwing daggers you can do the aforementioned moves to optimize your downtime and charge up or sustain your dps. Plus, you have a tiny bit of range on rockbreaker and even more on howling fist. So you do have some options. Plus, shoulder tackle has been buffed significantly from 2.0 to 3.0 so it is very useful for mobility.

With that said, I would be up for mobility like someone said. Or if they do add some range to make it an off gcd ability as to not negate the usefulness of having meditate and form shift while you are out of range.

*edit* Also, they have mentioned cutting down on limited use abilities. So the scenario when you have a group full of just monks and need to do a ranged pull is so limited I would be very surprised if they decided to add something just for that.

I understand that it was a limited situation but it still caused a wipe. It is also not a limited situation when going in solo and puts us at a huge disadvantage with other classes running it solo.

I am not even asking for the ranged action to cause damage, but having nothing is beyond stupid.
