I was able to make Iron Nuggets from Iron Ore as Blacksmith. Armorers cannot do it, however.

Tis' strange. I will try again. I saw that I was an armorer at first, but then switched to blacksmith to verify Invalice's post and could not make iron nuggets out of iron ore based on the ffxiv yg recipe (tried four, five, and six just to be insane). It said I could not synthesize with those materials. But if it worked for you with iron ore, I will try again and ponder the error of my ways.

Theres no way iron celata visor nets you 600+ exp / visor. I'm down to 450 exp at level 31.

You're simply wrong. I got 650 xp per visor for all of rank 30 and 31, 600 at rank 32, and at 34 I was still getting 550 per.

I just spent several days doing nothing but turning squares into visors, so. Yeah. Not correct on your part.

EDIT: apparently celata and barbut give different ammounts of exp. sorry the trolls crying 'troll' are getting to me today.

Ahah! I was not patient. It showed this time. I must have clicked too fast and thought the previous error message I got was recent.

No prob, we all make mistakes from time to time.

I was all getting ready to come crow about the fact that I'm still getting 500+ sp per craft at r35 on those visors, haha
