How will a potential jump potion effect the mentor system

So if they are doing jump potions possibly I know there is currently a mentor system. So Im curious to now will we have mentors that just went from 60 to 70. I know you have to do some extra stuff to go with it but that sure does shave alot of time off just wondering every ones thoughts on this and how a jump potion will effect the mentor system.

It won't mess anything up, really. I mean, the mentor system was already lopsided because the requirements were so easy to burn through. And the vets usually answer all the questions anyway.

At best, you'll see more derps in ex roulette or raids.

No. To become a mentor (unless they changed it which I haven't seen that they have) you have to have either max level in 3 roles or in DOL/DOH. So having one job at max isn't going to do anything.

So your sayin its acceptable to you that we'd have mentors that only leveled up two classes, and I also said with the new expansion meaning because they arent talkin about one now its for the new stuff. Why is it ok that other mentors that would have already leveled their stuff the right way that someone can skip 60 levels and have it easier for one class.

Considering they said it'd jump to level 60 if ever implemented... I don't think it'll be an issue!

It would be at least 3 jobs minimally (Tank/Healer/DPS). Am I concerned that people may spend hundreds(? dependent on price) to buy their way to mentor requirements? No, I can honestly say I am not. I find it highly highly unlikely that someone would spend that much (or any) rl money solely for an icon by their name. Could it happen? Sure, anything can. Will it happen? Highly improbable.

What is the mentor system?
The mentor system is a system which will allow players to assist beginners. In order to become a mentor, players must earn specific achievements and talk to a specific NPC.

There are three requirements:

Must have one job from each role (Tank/DPS/Healer) at level 60.
It’s set up in a way so that the player can offer advice for each role.
Must have completed 1,000 or more instanced dungeons or trials.
You may feel this is a large amount of number; however, we believe a lot of players have this completed already.
Have earned over 300 commendations.

Additionally, there are requirements for those who don’t play battle-related classes/jobs.

Instead of the above requirements, players can also become mentors by completing the following:

Have at least one class from both Disciples of Hand and Land at level 60.
Have crafted over 100 collectables.
Have gathered over 300 collectables.

Thats not the point I am making Im sayin that they would get a sixty point jump on one of their jobs so why should get have the same requirements as people who leveled their jobs from the beginning

Why would we care how others arrived at their mentor status? I have mentor status on my main because of gathering and crafting. Should those who have a tank/healer/dps be mad about that? Should I be mad at them because I actually have all DOH/DOL at 60?

I am the main, feel free to check my Lodestone to verify anything I have said. No I don't care that there may be people out their that did less "work" than I did and I hope no one cares that they did more "work" than I did.
