Wow 250 people are working on FFXIV

It's just sad that outside the community, all you hear is negative articles 3 pages long, then at the end like one line (oh but they said they are working on fixing it). NO SERIOUSLY, it's a flagship game that most of the company is working to restore band name loyalty with. This will be the final fantasy Square won't soon forget.

I just hope the failure helps them to make better final fantasy games PAST 14 and doesn't end next year.

I'm not being naive, but this game is far from being down and out. The PS3 release is likely to bring a huge influx of new players, primarily the console gamer in Japan. Old users will be attracted back knowing that they're getting a game from free. Yes, I hope they have learned their lesson from this excursion, but enough of this bullshit doom and gloom. The right actions are being taken and no one can ask for anything more than that.

Fact is that it's not news. It takes an amazing amount of naivete to think that the kind of changes we're seeing currently in FFXIV (and I mean what we've already seen so far, not in the future) can be done by a smaller team.

You're probably right, but I expected like 50 people... which isn't small. 250 is huge.
